My name is Kira. Originally from Finland, I have lived in the UK for over twenty years. My own path to becoming a counsellor has been shaped by a variety of life experiences, both professional and personal. Over the years, I have worked in dynamic, people-focused environments, held managerial and training roles, run my own business, and navigated the ever-evolving journey of being a mum. Each chapter has taught me about resilience, the importance of deep empathy, and the value of authentic connection.

One of the reasons I chose to professionally train as a therapist is that I experienced firsthand the transformative power of therapy. Several years ago, I faced my own emotional challenges, and I was offered a safe space where I could explore my feelings, be truly heard, and reclaim my own story. That experience was my own Sliding Doors moment and had a profound impact on me. It gave me a clear sense of purpose and a deep passion for providing that same space for healing to others. It is a place where emotions are held with care, where growth becomes possible, and where each person can reconnect with their own strength and live as their true and authentic self.

I believe that every person carries wisdom and strength within them, and my role is to help you reconnect with it and discover your true self, the person you are meant to be. Whether you are facing challenges from childhood experiences, navigating life transitions, seeking greater self-understanding, or simply wishing to explore anything that is holding you back, I offer a supportive space guided by empathy, where healing and personal discovery can unfold. I am not here to fix you, tell you what you should do, or assume I know what is best for you. I am here to walk alongside you, helping you access your own inner strength so that you can fully embrace who you are.
"We think we listen,
but rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. Yet listening,
of this vey special kind, is one of the most potent forces for change that I
know."
